SPACE SIMULATION CHAMBER. This is a government photograph is of the Mark 1 Test Facility at Arnold AFB. The Mark 1 space chamber is a state-of-the-art space environment simulation test chamber, used for full-scale space systems testing. The chamber is lined with a liquid nitrogen shroud capable of providing thermal conditions down to 77 degrees Kelvin, with a vacuum range to ≤ 5×10-7 Torr.
